I spent most of this evening getting my blog set-up again. It's been soo long since I accessed it that I had to totally revamp it. Its up and running now and I have no excuses NOT to use it. lol
I have a jewelry party coming Dec 9th. And, thankfully today I got some things done in preparation for it. I ordered some organza bags from e-bay. I ordered 2 sizes - 3x4 moss green and and 4x6 Burgundy bags. I'm really excited about them. I like the color combination of the two and think I will make them my signature colors.
I also ordered some business cards today. I created a business card online and had it shipped. It was one of those offers for 250 cards for $1.99, but the shipping was lots more. Especially since I need it for the party - and its a week from Thursday. Before I hit the final paypal button to confirm the payment ... I called around locally to see what they would charge for business cards. Calls to the tune of $65 were the answer that I got. And it was $15 more if they set it up ... but I could create it. So, I paid the extra $18 shipping to get the other cards here in 7 days time. Quality probably won't be as good ... but hey ... $65!!! Nonetheless I've had a very eventful day and got lots accomplished. It was a good day. Thank you Lord! :o)
Please be with my friends Sophia and Nolan. Heal them Father. I know you can!

Unexpected News
I have a couple friends who are sick. We got news last week that Sophia, 30 years old and mother of Bethany, 6, has a cancerous brain tumor. She's at Shands - they did one surgery - but must do another to insert a permanent drain stent because of fluid. Today we got news that our friend Nolan - in his mid 60's, has lung cancer and has 15+ months to live according to the way the cancer spreads.
Lord, I don't understand these things. I trust you to work these things out ... and no matter what ... I TRUST YOU!
